It is easily configurable, and with a few customizations you can use it for any application other than books! It lets an internet user purchase products listed in the online database. It will:
- allow the user to query the database by author name (or partial name), or book title
- allow the user to place selected books into the shopping cart and see charges as they accumulate - including shipping and handling charges
- allow check, call in credit card, or secure credit card purchasing
- autorespond to the purchaser all information from the transaction
- email the bookstore owner the book order and the credit card info.
